Zoran Kanti-Paul

Writer | Producer | Host | music producer

Born in 67, Zoran’s automotive odyssey traces back to Gawler, South Australia, amid the muscle car emergence. His love affair with cars began early, driving a manual VW Fastback on family land before owning his first Aussie Mopar, pre-license.

His automotive career began at General Motors-Holden in Adelaide, spray-painting Commodores on the 304 line. Cascading through the company ranks years later, lead to him as a test driver. In 2000, Zoran moved to Finland for the next 21 years, and became a notable classic car collector, importing cars for his European clients.

A true Mopar enthusiast, he boasted a collection of over 51 ‘Mopars, including his first, a VG Valiant 2-door hardtop. This motivated a lifelong passion and continued. He then transformed a ’57 Plymouth Savoy, into the award-winning show car ‘Twistine”, and it was awarded Best Mopar in 2017, by Mopar USA, on its 80th Brand Anniversary.

As the Northern European distributor for SP Tools & Auto Collector cemented Zoran as a known entity in the European automotive landscape. During this Finnish tenure, he met Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage, and became friends. This evolved into regular rmeet up at SEMA in Las Vegas, and time spent at the Gas Monkey Garage HQ in Dallas, exposing him to the TV medium, and creating a zest to be a part.

Zoran is a published writer and photographer, his work appearing in magazines internationally in the USA, Finland, the EU and Australia.

He is also an accomplished musician, composer and producer. Currently released on the Haz2B Label on all streaming DSP’s.

Now back in Australia since 2022, this newfound fascination has become the catalyst to enrich his global automotive narrative, in developing a TV show here in Australia, with “Next Exit”. And co-creator of a movie proposal, Deep Cover.
